The “Marro” photographic collection consists of more than 2,000 glass and silver bromide gel plates.

The images document the archeological digs of the M.A.I. (Italian Archeological Expedition) between 1911 and 1936 in which Professor Marro participated in his capacity as anthropologist.

The “Bicknel” photographic collection consists of 140 slides taken by Clarence Bicknel and Luigi Polloni of the Mount Begio region, presumably in the years 1905 and 1913, showing rock carvings of pre and protohistory.

The “Gariazzo Sesti” collection consists of 250 photographic plates from the beginning of the 20th century and document the populations and environment of the Congo Basin (Africa).
