A collection of artistic objects created by the patients in the Psychiatric Hospital of Collegno.

 

This collection, assembled by Giovanni Morro, includes artistic artifacts created by patients recovered in the Psychiatric Hospital of Collegno (Turin) between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th. It consists of sculptures in wood and bone, water colours, embroidery, and weaving. In the picture “The world in review”, a booklet of 60 pages richly illustrated by Mario Bertola, who was recovered in the Collegno Psychiatric Hospital (beginning of 20th century)
